Welcome to ShubhSetu. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. About ShubhSetu
ShubhSetu is an online platform that facilitates connections between customers and independent service providers for religious, event and related services.
Customers may submit service requests through the platform, and suitable registered vendors may receive relevant service opportunities based on factors such as service category, location and availability.
ShubhSetu primarily acts as a platform connecting customers with independent service providers and does not itself directly provide the services offered by such vendors unless specifically stated otherwise.
2. Customer Service Requests
Customers must provide accurate and complete information while submitting a service request, including their name, contact details, required service, event date and location.
Currently, submitting a service request on ShubhSetu is free for a limited period. ShubhSetu does not presently charge customers for submitting a service request.
Submission of a service request does not guarantee service availability, vendor assignment or confirmation.
A request will be processed subject to the availability and acceptance of a suitable service provider.
Customers should confirm the final service details, pricing, scope of work, payment terms and cancellation conditions with the respective service provider before finalizing the service.
3. Vendor Registration
Service providers who wish to receive service opportunities through ShubhSetu may apply for registration as vendors.
Vendors must provide accurate, complete and genuine information requested during the registration process.
Submission of a vendor registration application does not automatically guarantee approval or listing on ShubhSetu.
All vendor registrations are subject to review and approval by ShubhSetu.
4. Vendor Registration & Verification Fee
ShubhSetu may charge vendors a nominal registration and verification fee, as displayed on the website at the time of registration.
The fee is charged towards processing, reviewing and verifying the vendor registration application.
Payment of this fee does not guarantee approval or listing of the vendor on ShubhSetu.
Once the vendor registration application and applicable fee have been submitted and the review or verification process has commenced, the vendor registration and verification fee will be non-refundable, irrespective of whether the vendor application is subsequently approved or rejected.
Vendors are responsible for providing accurate, complete and genuine information. Applications containing incorrect, incomplete, misleading, false or unverifiable information may be rejected without refund of the registration and verification fee.
A refund may be considered in case of a duplicate payment, technical error resulting in excess payment, or where ShubhSetu is unable to process the application due to an issue attributable to ShubhSetu.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to users under applicable law.
5. Vendor Review & Approval
ShubhSetu may review the information submitted by a vendor before approving the registration.
As part of the registration or verification process, vendors may be requested to provide information such as contact details, service category, location, experience, photographs or other relevant information reasonably required for verification.
ShubhSetu reserves the right to approve, reject or request additional information regarding any vendor application.
ShubhSetu may also suspend or remove a vendor from the platform in cases involving false information, fraudulent activity, misuse, genuine complaints, violation of platform policies or other reasonable grounds.
Any review or approval performed by ShubhSetu should not be interpreted as a guarantee of a vendor’s service quality, conduct, reliability or future performance.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
Registered vendors are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to ShubhSetu is accurate and up to date.
Vendors are independently responsible for their services, including service quality, availability, quotations, pricing, punctuality, customer communication and fulfillment of commitments made to customers.
Vendors must not provide false or misleading information, misuse customer information, engage in fraudulent activities or use ShubhSetu for any unlawful purpose.
7. Service Pricing & Payments
The final price of a service may vary depending on the service category, customer requirements, event date, location, customization and other relevant factors.
Customers should confirm the final quotation, scope of service and applicable payment terms directly with the respective vendor before finalizing the service.
Unless specifically collected by ShubhSetu as a platform fee or Vendor Registration & Verification Fee, payments made directly between customers and vendors for services are transactions between the respective parties.
ShubhSetu may collect a Vendor Registration & Verification Fee and/or other applicable platform charges where such charges are clearly disclosed to the user before payment.
8. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms relating to payments collected directly by ShubhSetu will be governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy published on our website.
The vendor registration and verification fee is subject to the refund conditions stated in these Terms and in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Where a customer makes a payment directly to a vendor for an actual service, the applicable cancellation and refund conditions should be mutually agreed between the customer and the respective vendor.
Customers are advised to understand the applicable price, payment, cancellation and refund conditions before making any direct payment to a service provider.
9. Duplicate or Failed Payments
In case of a duplicate payment, technical error, excess payment or a transaction where an amount is debited but the payment status is unsuccessful, the user should contact ShubhSetu with the relevant transaction details.
After verification, any eligible refund will be processed in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy and, where applicable, to the original payment method.
10. Service Quality & Responsibility
Vendors registered or approved on ShubhSetu operate as independent service providers.
The respective vendor is responsible for the quality, execution and fulfillment of services agreed with a customer.
ShubhSetu may assist customers and vendors in resolving genuine concerns; however, ShubhSetu does not guarantee the quality, suitability, availability or successful completion of services provided by independent vendors.
11. Complaints & Dispute Handling
In case of a complaint or dispute relating to a service provider, customers may contact ShubhSetu through the official Contact Us page.
ShubhSetu may review available service request details and information provided by the customer and vendor and may assist both parties in resolving the matter.
ShubhSetu reserves the right to take appropriate action against a vendor in cases involving genuine complaints, misuse, fraudulent activity, false information or violation of platform terms.
For transactions made directly between a customer and vendor, ShubhSetu may facilitate communication or assist with a genuine dispute but cannot guarantee a particular outcome.
12. User Responsibilities
Customers and vendors using ShubhSetu agree to:
- Provide accurate and genuine information.
- Provide valid contact details.
- Not submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.
- Not misuse customer, vendor or platform information.
- Not attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
- Not use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activities.
- Communicate appropriately with other users.
- Comply with applicable laws and ShubhSetu policies.
13. Privacy & User Information
Information submitted by customers and vendors may be collected and processed for purposes including service request processing, vendor matching, communication, registration, verification, support, fraud prevention and operation of the platform.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with ShubhSetu’s Privacy Policy available on the website.
14. Website Availability
ShubhSetu aims to maintain reliable access to its website and platform services.
However, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party service interruptions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
15. Intellectual Property
The ShubhSetu name, logo, website design, graphics, text and other original content available on the platform are the intellectual property of ShubhSetu unless otherwise stated.
Such content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without appropriate authorization, except as permitted by applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
ShubhSetu primarily facilitates connections between customers and independent service providers.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShubhSetu shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from the acts or omissions of independent service providers, including service quality issues, delays, cancellations, pricing disagreements or failure to fulfill commitments.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
17. Suspension or Termination
ShubhSetu reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access to the platform where a customer or vendor:
- Provides false or misleading information;
- Engages in fraudulent or unlawful activity;
- Misuses the platform;
- Violates these Terms & Conditions;
- Creates a material risk to customers, vendors or ShubhSetu; or
- Repeatedly receives genuine complaints requiring platform action.
18. Changes to Terms
ShubhSetu may update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time due to changes in services, business processes, legal requirements or platform policies.
The latest version will be published on this page with the applicable updated date.
Continued use of ShubhSetu after such changes will be subject to the updated Terms & Conditions.
